To Share
As days inch longer,
Sun-shines warmth,
Seeps through every crevice.
As the ground awaits,
The hands of growth,
The birth of seeds.
Beware the birds,
For they know,
Extra pickings,
For their nose.
As blooms sprout,
Arrays of color,
Wings of joy,
Dot the fields.
For the ones,
With no flight,
The earth aligns,
With edible treats.
They gobble away,
Till fences erect,
Hold their pace.
For now they learn,
Sharing is born.
