                                                     The Walk
The field of clover, coated my feet, in softness, as i walked through the trees.
My next step, caught a glimpse of something small, following my path.
A frog had joined me, so small, but curious about me, as i was him.
His criss/crossing kept me moving slow, enjoying the cool breeze, sunlight twinkle, and peace of nature.
Birds stirred above, chirping, now and then.
Coming up on, where clover ends, and grass whispers, was the pond.
Lily pads floating, moss settling, with movement in its depths.
Standing on the bank, a mirror image, of the upward vision.
Perfect still life, of an upside down pasture.
You have to wonder, being in the sky, looking down, how different the world is.

To the East, of our home, sits a Cherry Tree,
Illuminated by morning sun rise.
Light dances through, and over her arms,
Telling a story of hidden secrets,
Spotted only with careful viewing.
Her face revealed,
With aged etchings,
Long worn,
From keeping watch.
Delving more,
A limb with purpose,
Extending into,
A clenched fist.
A symbol of,
Solidarity,
Strength,
And Unity.
To me signs,
Are a life force.
Presented,
To show our path.
This sign,
On our land,
Gives hope,
Of age old values,
Preserve,
Persevere,
Hold dear,
A life,
A love,
The land,
Bestowed,
Upon you,
From past,
To future.

                                                               May Winter's Beauty,
Awaken You,
To God's Artistic Hand,
Framed Through Your
  Window,
And As You Gaze,
God's Blessings,
Sprinkle From Above.
