To the East, of our home, sits a Cherry Tree,
Illuminated by morning sun rise.
Light dances through, and over her arms,
Telling a story of hidden secrets,
Spotted only with careful viewing.
Her face revealed,
With aged etchings,
Long worn,
From keeping watch.
Delving more,
A limb with purpose,
Extending into,
A clenched fist.
A symbol of,
Solidarity,
Strength,
And Unity.
To me signs,
Are a life force.
Presented,
To show our path.
This sign,
On our land,
Gives hope,
Of age old values,
Preserve,
Persevere,
Hold dear,
A life,
A love,
The land,
Bestowed,
Upon you,
From past,
To future.
