BEEN WAITING
                Slow days,
                Filled with to do's,
                Morning comes,
                No skies of blue,
                Watchful eye,
                For rolling dark,
                Glad you came,
                This day start.
                Will glance upon,
                Sway of trees,
                Feel the caress,
                Floating breeze,
                Stop and listen,
                The sounds,
                On air,
                Slow and steady,
                Come what's fair.

Tuesday's Heart break

Today began with a yellow Finch crashing into our patio door.Sad because he did not survive.
We have an abundance of birds,but each one is special.
On one of our downspouts we have baby Robins.Three to be exact.
Mom and Dad are awesome to watch,because they are both so attentive to their young.
We left,soon after,for an appointment in town,and grocery shopping.
We were gone about 3 hrs.
Our arrival home brought something not quite right to my line of vision.
The Robin's nest,there was something wrong.
As i walked over to investigate,i realized that a snake was completely wrapped around the nest.
My heart sunk,for i knew the babies would not survive.
Daniel shot the snake,and killed it,but the baby Robins were already gone.
As i watched,the Mom and Dad Robin explored the nest for any sign of life.
Tears were shed.
I know this is nature,but the fairness is off balanced.
